What we can do
From the first via ferrata to an alpine route.
What the day looks like depends on you: from a first secured via ferrata through rock routes and long ridges to alpine routes on ice. Added to that are guided mountain walks for everyone who wants to be out without a rope, but not alone.
If you want to become more capable yourself, you do not book a tour but training: knots, belaying, crampon and axe technique, navigation, planning. At the end you should be able to do more than before – not just have stood on top.
Across the whole of the Alps
My home ground is the Wetterstein range around Garmisch-Partenkirchen. But I work in the Eastern and the Western Alps alike: Großglockner, Ortler, Wildspitze and many more. If you have a particular summit in mind, just ask – chances are good that I know it.
Via ferratas beyond the region
- Via ferratas in the Dolomites
- Via ferratas in the Lech valley
- Geierwand via ferrata
- Stuibenfall via ferrata in the Ötztal
And of course the classics in the Eastern and Western Alps and right on the doorstep – the latter you will find on the page Zugspitze & Wetterstein.

Prices
Full day guiding in summer
Guiding and courses
Included and on request
The base price applies to one person. Every further person costs a surcharge, and there are packages for families and groups – tell me your group size and you will get the price for your day. Via ferrata sets, helmets, crampons, axes and mountain boots are available from my rental.
I do not charge a cancellation fee. Just let me know as early as you can if something comes up, so the date can still go to someone else. If the conditions force a change of plan, we will look for another objective or another day together.

Enquiries
A phone call or an email is all it takes.
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and what you have done so far. Then we will find the right tour and the right day. The surest time to reach me is after 4 pm; during the day I am usually in the mountains. Otherwise send me an email with a number to call back on and I will get in touch. I guide and teach in German and English.
